Creative Bath Awards

The Creative Bath Awards showcase Bath’s brilliant creative and tech businesses and individuals. The annual awards are run by Creative Bath – a network that aims to support its members, share creative excellence, help the sector to thrive, and put Bath on the map as a leading creative city.

Bath Spa University, its staff, and collaborative initiatives led by its partner organisations were nominated for a grand total of eight accolades in this year’s Creative Bath Awards and the winners have now been announced.

Bath Spa University won the Creativity for Good award. Comments received: “Impressive repertoire of thoughtful activities, powered by creativity. Recognised in Social Enterprise Awards as an outstanding practice. Highly effective in connecting deeply with variety of Bath organisations.”

Professor Kate Pullinger won the Inspirational Person award. Comments received: “Kate is a pioneer in the creative sector with ambitious drive and clear aspiration for countless students. Also an accomplished novelist, editor and strategic lead.” Professor John Strachan, Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Research and Enterprise), also commented that Kate’s award “reflects her huge inspirational, entrepreneurial, and imaginative influence on the West Country.”
