Associate Professor Patricia Ann McNair from Columbia College Chicago read a short story, ‘Just like that’ from her collection ‘The Temple of Air’ to students at Bath Spa University. This book received the Chicago Writers Association Book of the Year Award, Southern Illinois University’s Devil’s Kitchen Reading Award, and the Society of Midland Authors (US) Finalist Award. A longstanding friend of Bath Spa University, Patricia gave a talk on the American Short Story for first year students, hosted by Senior Lecturer in creative writing, Mimi Thebo last year.
