In January GALA partners at Bath Spa University and Concordia University contributed projections to Illuminate 2015 with eight nights of projection, performance, installation and illumination. Canadian video artist Leila Sujir (Concordia University) projected in stereographic 3D onto the entrance wall of the Roman Baths where visitors will be given 3D glasses to view her ethereal artwork Elastic City Spacey. Images of Roman coins, from the Beau Street Hoard, interacted with video footage of Corsham Court’s famous peacocks, to connect the Roman and Georgian history of Bath within this architectural space.
