Dr Celia Brayfield, Senior Lecturer in Creative Writing at BSU, has two events at the English: Shared Futures Conference hosted by Manchester Metropolitan University, The University of Manchester, and Salford University.

NAWE Panel: Creativity for Critical Thinking – it’s all in the story

Nineteenth Century Writing: Black Beauty in Context

Based on Celia’s forthcoming book, Writing Black Beauty, a paper which explores the creative context of Anna Sewell’s groundbreaking bestseller, Black Beauty, and the work of the three prominent women writers to whom she was closely related.
