Blizzard of Stories – sharing stories of hope, joy and creative resistance

October 17, 2022 at 6:00 pm - November 13, 2022 at 7:30 pm

17th October 2022, 6pm – 7:30pm

Bringing artists, activists, poets – humans – together to sweep us away in a whirlwind of short inspirational stories.

What if our systems allowed all children to flourish in infinitely wonky, beautifully different, and communally crafted open-ended environments? From ‘A Call for Spaces of Liberated Learning’, 2020

This event will celebrate how and where this is already happening in small pockets around the world. Responding to CCI’s Call for Spaces for Liberated Learning, each of our storytellers will share how their work connects to this call. We will fill our screens with stories of hope, joy, play and creative resistance to help us sustain our optimism and resistance.

The event is hosted by five colleagues who work together through shared research and campaigning. The evening has been inspired by Transition Together’s first Blizzard of Stories, held in spring 2022. Rob Hopkins from Transition will be joining us and we will be donating funds raised by the event to support the wonderful work of the Transition movement in communities across the world.
