As an esteemed partner of NID, Ahmedabad, we are pleased to announce the 7th edition of the Alpavirama International Youth Film Festival which will take place from October 15-19, 2024. This year, the festival’s theme is ‘Reflected Realities,’ a portrait of reality through the lens of young filmmakers across the globe.

As you be aware, Alpavirama (“comma” in Sanskrit), International Youth Film Festival of short films, documentaries, and audiophiles celebrating the works of young filmmakers across the globe, is organized biennially by the Film and Video Discipline of NID, Ahmedabad, since 2011. The competition section is open to only young filmmakers (under 30), making it a unique film festival in India. Masterclasses, workshops, seminars, and exhibitions are also organized during the festival.
