Nobantu Shabangu is an academic, performing artist, and writer. They have a bachelor’s degree in Communication Science and Public Administration as well as two postgraduate degrees in Applied Drama and Drama Therapy. Their passions lie in transformation, community building, governance, entrepreneurship, self-actualisation, the healing arts, visual arts, theatre, and physical performance. They are currently enrolled in the Master of Arts program in Drama Therapy at the University of Witwatersrand with a research focus on transformation through the narrative study of Black women’s professional experiences within the drama therapy field.
